Technical characteristics These instruments are studied and realised for the employment in electrotechnics laboratory or in electronics laboratory.
The absorption and the recovery times of the pointer ( which are particularly light and lower), are negligible.
This technique leaded also to avoid the deterioration of pivots caused by shakes or vibrations.
The suspensions are on sprung sapphires with short excursion, and for this reason, the instruments can be considered shockproof.
The instruments case is strong enough to garantee the resistence against strikes and falls, because it is made with a thermosetting material.
The scales are drew with an high number of divisions and lots of instruments have more scales in the way to avoid the adoption of unconfortable constants.
In general, it is enough to do simple operations like x2,x1, :2 and an abacus supplies (on the instruments scales with lots of Range), the constants to multiply the reading, based on nominal values of V and I.
This is a very usable result in the didactic employment.
The knife pointer and the mirror scale avoid the parallax reading error.
