Three Phase Autotransformers


Standard C.E.I. 14/8 issue 1162 IEC 726
The three phase autotransformers are built with connection either in star or delta form.
The autotransformer can be used to reduce or to raise voltage.
The most widely used connection is the star as the delta connection is less chiper.
In addition, with star connection any voltage relation-ship is possible; as the delta connection is only possible the voltage ratio 1:2.
Dimensions can be varied according to available space.		 Series production:
- Primary voltage between 0 to 600V
- Secondary voltage: between 0 to 600V
- Insulation class: B
- Protection: IP00;
- Frequency: 50/60 Hz
- Open execution
- Electrical protection class I
- Impregnation with resin
- Tropicalised
- Full data always refer to the max secondary voltage

a) power in V.A.
b) voltage and frequency of supply line;
c) secondary voltage
d) ambient temperature
e) working ambience.
