TECHNICAL CHARACTERISTICS
This equipment utilizes a uP system in an entirely new and novel approach to training.
Up to 24 faults on either audio or video or a combination of both is possible without carrying out any physical change to the electronic circuit of the T.V.
It is possible to carry out measurements on all the important points on the circuits by digitally coding these points.

The point to be measured is automatically connected to BNC socket on the front of the panel to which oscilloscope and multimeter, or other meters, can be connected.
The complete TV block circuit is clearly presented on the original schema with easy identification of all the individual stages.
Understanding of the operation is developped stage by stage using the teaching book supplied.
It is teaching in fault finding which is unique in this system.
Faults are inserted into the system via the keyboard. The effect that a fault creates is immediately obvious on the TV screen.
The student is required to input the code number of the component which he think is defective.
If the result is positive the television will return to normal working immediately.
If more than one fault is inserted only the fault which has been found will disappear.
The other faults will be remain until corrected.

Complete and realistic faults can be created in the system and a correct method for tracing and curing faults can be teached and illustrated
This system uses a modern T.V. set which ensures that the student is trained on a modern system in a practical and safe means.
